Wow, has it been six months already? In some respects it seems much longer and in others much shorter. This month has been a lot about adjustments. We've worked on many adjustments to create the perfect or at least near perfect routine for Alison. She has had her first time away from mom (a few days). We learned that she does not take powdered formula well - makes her stomach very upset and then the food comes right back out. Yuck! She has begun eating some solids, nothing too serious. She has tried brown rice cereal, pears and sweet potatoes. And yes, ALL organic. It took quite a few sessions for her to get the concept of opening her mouth to receive the spoon with food on it. But, over the last week she has really gotten the hang of it. Alison has tried out some training cups - she's not so good at those. She sits up much better this month. Not on her own but, with assistance. A couple of weeks ago, she weighed in at the doctor's office at 13 lbs.
