A Budding New Career

An opportunity arose for Tahlor to be in a magazine photo shoot. Last week we headed to the courthouse...the backdrop for the photo session.

I have a couple pics from my iPhone for now but will post more (the pro versions) later.

That is right, Tahlor will grace the cover of Nevada Lawyer magazine :) It was a good thing and she had a lot of fun. Not only did she learn about modeling but also about becoming a lawyer and judge. I wonder about the full impact of this and only time will tell.

Band-aids

I aught to start investing in the top bandage manufacturers! At least one time each day I hear the following request from Lauren, "Mom, can I have a band-aid?"

She must be going through a stage...a stage that seems vaguely familiar. Hopefully it won't be too long. The kid is consistently getting hurt by falls, scrapes and the like. I mean, there is only so much a band-aid will do.

Really, it cracks me up (on the inside) every time she asks. I think she does it just to do it. It is so cute because kids think that it will take away pain/discomfort plus covers things up so they don't have to see the boo-boo.

I'm buying this piece from artist Jennifer because it is beautiful and will be a reminder of my friend Emily who lost a battle with colo-rectal cancer this past March.

Dual Debut

While both were necessities, the eyeglasses (coming first) and haircut are very becoming of her. Tahlor looks so studious...love you Goose!
