In the last six months, I've discovered and made purchases at etsy.com. What is etsy? It is a community of sellers who hand make or upcycle/recycle goods. Not only has it been a great way for me to purchase items that are unique and better for the environment but it is also a great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts. Plus, it helps to support individuals/small companies. I have been pleased with everything so far. Right now, I am excited for my latest purchase to arrive. Some beautiful fabric baskets that I intend to use as produce storage in my kitchen island. I decided that what ever I found to use for this purpose could not be breakable as the girls (mostly Lauren) have easy access to this area. So, if she gets a hold of it then at worst there will be some damaged veggies or fruit. I will try to remember to get a picture after I have put them to use.
