This week John and I are on vacation. The past couple of days we have spent at home but earlier this week we traveled to California for a wonderful trip with the girls.
We spent one full day (park open to park close) exploring all of our favorites and discovering a couple new items. Tahlor said her favorite ride was the carousel...she was quite afraid of many of the rides, particularly if it was dark or fast! Poor Tahlor, I took her on Pinocchio, Snow White and Pirates of Caribbean. John took her on Thunder Mountain!!! She did have fun on the train ride around the park so, that was a good thing.

We first went to San Diego where we spent 1 1/2 days at Sea World. It was awesome! Tahlor's favorite part was the Sesame Street play area...there were kids rides, jungle gym, slide, water features, and bouncy house. I loved looking at all the animals, especially the killer whales. We caught the end of the evening show and those whales really soaked the audience.
Eating at the park was expensive of course and on top of that the food was not that great at all...for future reference I would try to avoid eating meals at this park all together.

One part that I thought was especially cool was the sea ray exhibit. There was a pool of sea rays and you could interact with them. Their stingers were clipped so they could not hurt anyone. They were very friendly and their skin was slick and soft. You could also purchase some fish to feed to them! I even got Tahlor to pet one...she was a little hesitant at first :)

Don't worry, even Lauren had fun. Besides a lot of stroller riding and naps, she did get to go on a few rides like Dumbo, Pirates of the Caribbean and the park train ride. She really liked Dumbo...the wind in her face.
